@ Anne – Thank you so very kindly! I do hope to spotlight many other aspects of the 18th century in my future work. My current manuscipt in progress ( CHASING VENUS is the working title) will focus somewhat on the science and exploration of the era – but still in the context of a romance. @ Martha – It was great fun to learn more about this era and then to place myself in the characters' shoes as they played. I tried very hard to capture the mood and the excitement as well as the growing sexual tension between Philip and Sukey as he taught her.

@ Na – THE HIGHEST STAKES is truly set in the turf world as my characters would have seen it, lived it, breathed it. Racing was not just a casual sport- it was a passion for some (Robert and Charlotte) and an Obsession for others (CHarlotte's uncle) It was my intention to bring this to vivid life in the context of an epic love story.

@Karen – There are a few of us out there that really love the Georgian era . Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series is set in the mid1700's, Jo Beverly and Elizabeth Hoyt write in this era, and you should check out Lynne Connolly as well. I love her Richard and Rose series!

I have always found horseracing to be a fascinating and exciting sport in historical times. Even now, it sounds entertaining. I like that your story is set around this and it's not something I come across in the books I read. I will keep your books on my reading radar. Wishing you all the best.
