WE AT MY BOOK ADDICTION AND MORE WOULD LIKE TO WELCOME TO OUR REVIEWER STAFF TEAM,OUR NEWEST REVIEWER: LEEANN BARKER:
ABOUT LEEANN BARKER:
An avid reader, reading approx 4-6 hours a day, I can always be found with a book or eBook. I like to run on my elliptical, go camping with my family and write. My favorite genres are romance, romantic suspense or thrillers, urban fantasy, vampires, demons, angels, shifters, BSDM, and general erotica. Simply put, I’m a jeans and t-shirt girl that enjoys an occasional deliciously tattooed alpha male demon lover to dream about!
In my real life, I’m a registered nurse in a busy open heart ICU in Toledo, Ohio. I live outside of a tiny town, in a 175 year old farm house, on a river with lots of trees to sit under and read by.
I’m the mom of three, only one of which still live at home. Wife to my fabulous, fun and personal alpha male, Fred. And mistress to a house and barnful of dogs and cats.

CHRISTMAS MEMORIES/TRADITIONS FROM OUR REVIEWERS!!!
MEMORIES/TRADITIONS FROM KELLY ROSS…
My favorite Christmas memory would be as a child, the anxiousness and excitement I felt waiting for the arrival of Santa. Seeing all the presents under the tree and the amount that showed up Christmas morning after Santa’s arrival. Now it is the look on my children’s faces when they open their gifts that they weren’t expecting. Then of course getting together with all the family. This year there will be 24 of us.
Thanks Kelly,what a wonderful memory!!
MEMORIES/TRADITIONS FROM LEEANN BARKER…..
When I was a kid, every Christmas Eve my grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins would come to our home for the annual celebration. Dad’s job was as the drink server and general MC for the evening with eggnog for the kids, hot toddy’s for the adults, and talk about loved ones past. Mom would be all a twitter with making sure our home was clean, our food was aplenty, and for heaven’s sake, the children well behaved and well dressed (that would be me and my three little brothers). So, with the house full of relatives and everyone’s belly filled, we’d all make our way to church for the ever-reverent Christmas Eve candle light service.
Every year upon our return home, miraculously we’d find that Santa Claus had left presents under the tree. My parents, as well as the other adults, acted so amazed and played up the thrilling discovery for us kids. It was wonderful! So much so, that I believed in Santa remaining innocent of the truth until my 13 year. Yes, I know. You’re not thinking anything that my husband hasn’t relentlessly teased me about (his favorite is that I used training wheels on my two wheeler until I was 11. The truth is I simply was not that coordinated of a child). Well, while still in my innocent state one Christmas Eve, at 12 years old and with little brothers of 10, 8 and 2 (he was the ooops baby), my father drove us home from church. That particular year and two blocks from our home, who should be walking across the street but the the jolly old elf himself. Yes, real life Santa Clause, white beard, red suit, black boots, sack and all. It was him! My parents were right all along, Santa Clause really did time his arrival while we were at church!!!! My brothers and I were simply astonished!
As an adult, I surmise that “Santa” was probably on his way to a neighborhood party. My innocence is long gone, as are some of my relatives, but I’ve retained that wonderful night in my memory. Snow everywhere, tree branches hung heavy with ice crystals, family together and Santa Claus in my very own neighborhood!
