SATURDAY’S GUEST CHARACTER: DeEtte, from Big Brazen Sky……

[Historical/Western Romance]

{From the Montana Girl Series”

Coming to you all the way from the big Triple D, one of the Montana Girls……

Welcome DeEtte!

Where do you dream of traveling to and why?

DeEtte: To be honest, I can’t live without adventure. When I was younger I used to dream of traveling anywhere, but since the range war I think I’m content with simply traveling as far as Lolo town. I can get enough adventure on the Triple D.

Tell us about your family.

DeEtte: Where to begin? I have four sisters and one brother. Each of us are vastly different, but when it comes to helping each other out, were there. Take my sister Justine…we’ll actually I heard she’s trying to change her name to Daylene…but that’s a different story. When I had to leave to hunt down my horses, she stepped up on took control of the Triple D. I never would have expected that from her. She loves the town life way too much to get dirty.

What was the scariest moment of your life?

DeEtte: When I realized John had been kidnapped by Tisdale. I realized then that I couldn’t live without him.

As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

DeEtte: This is it. A rancher.

What is your favorite meal?

DeEtte: I don’t know about meal, but I love me some bear sign, or as you town folk call it, doughnuts.

What are you passionate about these days?

DeEtte: Same as always, breaking horses and running the Triple D. Only now I have a man to help me out, he’s really good in the kitchen. *winks*

What would we find under your bed?

DeEtte: My lucky boots. My sister, Dusty has a matching pair.

What is the next big thing?

DeEtte: I plan to live low here in the valley, but Dusty and Travis just left to take Justine out East to be a big star. For our family, that’s big.

Is there a piece of advice that you have received that has really stuck with you? If so, what was it?

DeEtte: I don’t know about advice that was given to me, but I would say let your heart trust in love. If not, your life will be filled with disappointment and loneliness. I’ve never met a happy person that was lonely.

Thanks for being here!

DeEtte: Thanks for having me! I’d better get back to the Triple D before John takes off with more of my horses. *Grins and winks*

After she discovers a cut fence and her horses missing, DeEtte hunts down the dirty outlaws who took the herd from her ranch, only to find things aren’t as they seem. John, the man who stole her horses and her heart, must now prove he is indeed as innocent as he claims — a task that makes it difficult for him to woo the headstrong woman. Two-timing outlaws, deadly secrets, and finally DeEtte’s ability to find danger in any situation challenge his love and determination. John needs to settle his score with a man from Texas, protect DeEtte not only from murderous outlaws but from other suitors, and meanwhile convince her he’s trustworthy enough to marry. Can he clear his name and at the same time keep her from running head first into a range war and possible death?
