MBA&M IS HONORED TO WELCOME LYRIC AND QUINN,OF “YOURS BY MIDNIGHT”…
Lyric – Good morning! Thanks for having us here today. It’s our first time being interviewed.
Quinn – We’re having a lot of firsts. Just last night—
Lyric – Quinn! (Pushes him in the shoulder, he snags her hand and laces their fingers)
MBA&M: Now, you two! Which of you has the stronger personality?
Lyric – I do.
Quinn – She does.
Lyric – Good answer. (Smiles and looks adoringly at Quinn)
Quinn – I know. *winks*
MBA&M: We understand you two ended up together, when passion and grief took over. Do you feel you would have ended up together if Oliver had lived?
Quinn – Absolutely. It was only a matter of time before we couldn’t keep our hands off each other.
Lyric – You mean your hands off me. (grins)
Quinn – I mean to keep them on you forever, sweetheart.
Lyric – Deal. (grins wider)
MBA&M: Quinn, when Oliver died in that tragic accident, what drew you to Lyric other than passion and did you feel you where taking something of your brother’s, even though he was dead?
Quinn – I’ve always been drawn to Lyric. She’s dynamic, loving, kind, beautiful.
Lyric – Aww. (leans into him)
Quinn – And when she gives you her attention, she gives it one hundred percent. The night we were together I wanted and needed to give her all of mine.
Lyric – You did. (sighs dreamily)
Quinn – And I wasn’t taking anything away from my brother. Lyric was never his. Not in the way I wanted her.
MBA&M: Grief draws us together in unestimated ways, do you two feel your grief for Oliver drew you together or was it destined to happen?
Lyric – I’d say a combination of the two. When we talked about Oliver and our past we came to some pretty life changing revelations. For me, one of those was deep in my heart I knew I’ve always loved Quinn.
Quinn – I am hard to resist. *smirks*
Lyric – So hard. *rolls eyes*
MBA&M: Lyric, why did you decide to keep your secret instead of revealing it sooner? Did you feel no one needed to know the truth or did you think it would not come out eventually?
Lyric – (looks down for a moment) I regret keeping my secret more than I can say. At the time I was confused and hurt and so unprepared. I’d lost Oliver and then Quinn left without a word and I couldn’t think straight. As time went on my guilt grew, but I was worried. Quinn had always been so unpredictable and I wasn’t sure how he’d feel about things. I called him once. (pauses and she and Quinn lock gazes) I wanted to hear his voice and tell him I missed him and wanted to see him, but a girl answered his phone so I hung up. I found out from his mom he was seeing someone and I didn’t want to ruin that. He deserved someone better than me.
Quinn – (palms her cheek) Sweetheart, you’re it for me. Always have been. Always will be.
MBA&M: We all want a happily ever after, do you feel your struggles with guilt, grief, and emotional turmoil will give you that happy ever after?
Quinn – Hell, yeah.
Lyric – Yes.
MBA&M: Good luck, you two.
Lyric and Quinn – Thank you.
Lyric: I’m already the luckiest girl in the world.
